Finally we showed that #xDBiT is compatible with state-of-the-art analysis tools like #MEFISTO or #cell2location to gain more detailed information on the structure of the multidimensional datasets. For this, the #kidney was used as model organ. 5/6

To show the broad applicability of #xDBiT, we generated a multi-organ #spatial #transcriptomics dataset. Analysis showed high correlation with published bulk #RNA-seq data. 4/6

Together with the technological advantages, we published an #opensource #Python-based analytical pipeline to convert raw #sequencing data into #Scanpy-compatible datasets. The pipeline is available on @github: Happy to receive your feedback.🧬💻 3/6

Improvements in workflow and #chemistry lead to increased numbers of reads and counts per spot compared to the original #DBiTseq method. An extended #imaging workflow prevents the destruction of image features. 🧬🔬 2/6

#Science has to decide whether to stay here and support this or search for alternatives and migrate there. Whether it be @joinmastodon or other platforms. The science community is one of the few groups that has the knowledge and resources to do so!.

Why does the #scientific community stay so quiet and goes back to business as usual while Elon Musk uses the platform to support far-right narratives? What he is doing with the „woke“ media is nothing but the reinvention of the old fascist stab-in-the-back myth.
