Wow - I feel seen. Active listening is one of the biggest social challenges I struggle with. While I agree with @truthache68 it’s not intended to be rude, it’s taken that way - and it also means I sometimes don’t actively listen to everything. Years ago in a 360 review an
Many chronic interrupters aren't being rude—they might be quick thinkers whose minds jump to conclusions, connections, or responses before the speaker finishes. Their internal processing speed outpaces the ~150-200 words per minute of typical conversation.

Looking for help: ‘25 I avg 3.5 sessions per week doing mostly strength training (~45 min) and 3x sauna (~20 min). However weight consistently 222-226… I eat well, but obviously too much. Food is central to our family so I need “normal” eating habits Any tips or advice?

Sauna bros: I’ve got a 8k @harviaglobal heater that’s undersized for my 400 cubic foot outdoor sauna in Canada. Without changing the heater, any suggestions for performance? If I do change the heater, what size & brand is best?

Yes @BernieSanders robots don’t need time off or sick leave. Also, robots always show, always do a good job & are available in any labor market. Robotics can’t be stopped. It’s too good. A small tax, like driving, is inevitable. But tax will not stop progress.
Why would corporations like Amazon replace workers with robots? Pretty simple. Robots don’t need a wage, health care, time off, sick leave, Social Security, Medicare or unemployment benefits. Maybe it’s time to tax robots & use the revenue generated to help working families.

Does anyone have a AI calorie counter where you take a 📸, maybe describe it, and it tells you? I find trackers are relatively easy for breakfast/lunch when I’m making food for myself but at dinner, we eat a family style meal. PIA to log the whole recipe and determine portions.

Robotics could explode from $91B today to $25T by 2050, according to Morgan Stanley research. - Worldwide robot installations are growing near 13% CAGR since 2015. - Logistics automation capex is up 20%+ per year, and warehouses using robots report 25–30% higher productivity. -

Great post. I think the best thing I can do as a new parent, is show my daughter a life worth living. Her life might be totally different than mine, but if she ends up like me (or her mom) I want to make sure we would be happy about it.
"The greatest burden a child must bear is the unlived life of the parents." —Carl Jung Here’s a piece of contrarian parenting advice: Be a little selfish. After having kids, a lot of people surrender their life as an individual. They stop pursuing their passions, don’t travel,

Great clip - but always been nuts to me how many people get upset at a crying baby on a plane vs feeling bad for a baby having a hard time

If you can’t beat em, join em. Huge exit, congrats to everyone involved.
Nvidia paid 3X Groq's September valuation to acquire it. This is strategically nuclear. Every AI lab was GPU dependent, creating massive concentration risk. Google broke free with TPUs for internal use, proving the "Nvidia or nothing" narrative was false. This didn't just

First - congrats to @amazon for being so far ahead on this. Second - this is coming. Companies need to adapt or get left behind. Robotics can reduce labour costs up to 80% with more consistent and quality output in many jobs Want to learn more, send me DM @MbodyAi
Amazon’s operating margin has exploded from 0.2% to 11%, largely driven by their robotics tech & the market still isn’t pricing it in! 2026 will likely be $AMZN's year!

I’m increasingly convinced that emotional control is the ultimate sign of personal growth. The ability to remain unshaken by the little collisions and inconveniences of life. To avoid assigning false narratives to everyday slights. That’s when you take control of your own life.

But what about the other attributes? Generosity and kindness? Stillness of mind? Strength of body? Sometimes it feels like parents are optimizing for their kids be rich & unhappy which seems like a sub optimal objective.

To all the parents out there with young children: what are the two or three goals you have for them? How will you measure your success as a parent? It’s interesting because the most common thing I hear is some version of hard working or competent?
