Oh please! Let’s stop with the “liberal press” BS. I’m a conservative and I know like YOU do that this stinks. $500,000 of free stuff—and that was just one trip?! ANYONE in PUBLIC SERVICE knows that kind of spending is not just “hospitality”. #Ethics

The left gins up another phony ethics assault to tarnish the Supreme Court.

“Any efforts to block the apartments could be toothless and too late, the MDJ reports, because applicants are entitled to the law as it stands on the day they submit a project for review.” Uh oh, left with no other options, Cobb’s gonna have to bust out the stickers again!

Every wing of the Democratic party and those who align with them vastly underestimate how much the sentiments described in this article contribute to the entire party's unpopularity, regardless of which wing.

I've been tested on this and failed and failed and eventually succeeded.
In situations of conflict, regardless of how you personally feel about the person afflicted -- silence is never the answer. Silence is violence. We may not always agree on tactics, but to do nothing is allowing the harm to continue. Just a little message on courage.

There is a remarkable irony that while Atlanta is branding itself as A City in a Forest and is also "addressing" its affordable housing crisis will delay or stop affordable housing b/c of trees while bulldozing a forest to build a fake city that will house no one.

Believing that public health can be improved by spending more on health care alone is like believing that public safety can be improved by spending more on the police alone.

Cities prioritize expanding multi-million dollar roads that transport people to strip malls, gas stations, and big box stores, all of which raise less tax revenue per acre than their downtown districts and cost far more to maintain over time. Our priorities need to change.

If you bail out the SVB depositors (who are companies) you’re really bailing out the people who invested in those companies. If you’re trying to prevent EMPLOYEES of those companies from falling into poverty, what you want is some kind “safety net”

I've been thinking about how to respond to this design, and decided that I'd start with cost. This is a $260 Mil. project, of which $203 Mil. is planned to come out of the City's More MARTA pool of funds.

Look at those yellow MARTA lines, tempting us with transit expansion. This is from a 2016 document about proposed projects to be funded by a sales tax hike & more. Did you imagine that we'd have started construction on none of it by 2023? https://t.co/3J0098TMsc

For a while MARTA seemed to have an okay run of CEOs. But this current one has got to go before inflicting more damage.

I hear so many people out there saying "the masks did not work" now based on this one misrepresented study that contradicted years of research to the contrary.
NEWS: Cochrane says lead author of a mask review misrepresented its findings, apologizes for summary statement that was imprecise and says they will update it. They say their review did NOT find masks don't work. Plus, I examine the actual evidence. https://t.co/wi7eKZSSbi
