It was a nurse that led @rachelsuzhunt to a group of young cancer patients to make her journey less alone. Keep using your voice, Rachel! A few mentors for you: @TheLizArmy and Adam Hayden’s TikTok and blog https://t.co/bViNNW1tnq to see how “normal scary” your journey is.
I try not to get too personal on this app for fear of being perceived™️, but I wanted to share a piece I wrote for The @washingtonpost Cancer took my life by storm, and only now is it calming. I’m grateful I can shine some light on this growing issue

Excellent piece. I cringe when I see new tech laser focused on wellness & health as if it’s all in our control. Sometimes it’s just bad luck and our words matter to ensure we do not isolate others: How to navigate a chronic illness https://t.co/9mR99XgWiH via @voxdotcom

Hey X... it's me again! I am looking to talk to #GenZ, #Millennial #Caregivers who live in multigenerational households and therefore feel less isolated/#lonely. Bonus points if you live in a #multifamily/#planned #community (nursing homes, assisted living facilities, etc.)

Spend an hour in my daughter’s kindergarten class today where I watched the teachers tie shoes, clean up throw up, use Google translate to help students in multiple languages, settle disputes, and wipe tears. All with smiles on their faces. Pay. Teachers. More.

It was fun and fast paced and my thanks to the incredible team at CDC who willingly ripped up the rule book in the process of making this incredible resource more accessible to a wider audience. Much more to come!

If a loved one is admitted to hospital and they have dementia, check to see if the hospital has a dementia support service. We never knew. At Walsall Manor Hospital my cousin told me. The support group were fantastic. #Dementia support - supporting you and your loved one. ❤️

Poor dad back in hospital again, different hospital, different people, different understanding of dementia. So confusing for him.

I thanked Mayor Fadness and Police Chief Gebhart privately and publicly. Does this sound like the actions of someone who wants to defund the police? Please don’t believe the false mailer the GOP put out against me today saying I’m anti-police. Vote #StevensonForFishers
I attended tonight’s Fishers City Council Meeting. 8 new police officers were sworn in. I really like the diversity in this group which reflects our community. I shared my appreciation of this with Mayor Fadness and Police Chief Gebhart. Thanks for keeping our city safe!

I am so disappointed w/these false attacks. Who paid for these ads? Win on your own merits-not on false statements. I hope @toddpzimmerman @CeciliaCoble Tiffanie Ditlevson @ScottFadness & @FishersChief publicly denounce this. Fishers citizens deserve honest campaigns-not this!
The GOP is flat out lying about me in another negative mailer. I’ve never supported defunding the police. Without grandstanding, I’ve privately worked with the Mayor & Fishers Police Chief on police matters to help make our community better for everyone. Vote #StevensonForFishers

What a care team looks like. Never let someone make you feel you should give up. In the darkest of diagnosis, there is joy, beauty, & laughter because of the people you surround yourself with…your care team. 🫂 to the Barkan family.
@BeaHero Ady fought for the 24/7 care he needed to be home with us until the end of his life. It’s impossible to thank his incredible caregivers enough for their labor and care, which allowed us to live as a family through Ady’s health challenges. Everyone should have that chance. [3/4]
