So I went down a David Alan Coe rabbit hole, again, and found this. This is from Gilly’s in 1982 with @thewarrenhaynes on guitar. I had no idea. “Please Come To Boston” written by Dave Loggins. It’s perfect. Even the shorts.

Modern beavers have been in North America for 7 million years, their ancestors for 30-40 million. Humans for maybe 30k The entire web of life on this continent co-evolved with beavers & their ecosystem engineering. It should be illegal to even look at a beaver the wrong way
People talk about “natural rivers” like they’ve always looked this way. They haven’t. A few hundred years ago, huge stretches of North America were stair-stepped with beaver ponds… water held back across entire valleys, floods slowed, drought water stored in plain sight. Then

Don’t even know what to say. Grateful Dead, Ratdog, Furthur, Scaring The Children, Other Ones, The Dead, Dead &Co. I saw him at least 100 times since 1989. Bobby gave you what you need, not what you want. RIP to the real one.
Bob Weir, the singer, songwriter, guitarist and co-founder of the Grateful Dead who for decades was one of the driving forces behind the revered band and their legacy, has died at age 78

Would not have guessed Mitch Ryder and the Detroit Wheels.
This American rock singer who was from Detroit has recorded more than 25 albums over more than four decades. ‘When You Were Mine’ was released in 1983. 👉🏻 What is his real name and stage name? 👉🏻What was the name of the band he was in?

The Paul McCartney part of Spinal Tap 2 is worth the watch. His best work since Give My Regards To Broad Street.

This song and video radicalized me as a kid. I still listen to Haircut 100. New Wave forever.
This British pop group was formed in 1980 in London. This song was released in 1982 and reached #3 in the UK. What’s the name of the song and band?

Neat thing about this song, that I love, is that Waddy Wachtel is one of the producers and they brought in Russ Kunkel to get the drums just right. When you have a hit on your hands, you don’t mess around.

This is such a great interview for Oasis loving gear heads. As simple as it all sounds, there’s a lot of method to that madness.
“Noel said, ‘Ever been in a band with three guitars? We’ll let Bonehead do Bonehead, and we’ll fit around it’”: Noel Gallagher’s longtime right-hand man Gem Archer takes us inside the Oasis reunion – and how they negotiated their new three-guitar lineup

Ok, fine. Yungblud is ok.
Yungblud rejected Howard Stern's claim that "rock music is dead." "Rock music is coming back at the minute. People always put so much pressure on one person bringing it back: 'Who's gonna save rock 'n' roll?' That's a load of bullshit." The UK singer proceeded to name a bunch

Cool pic. I first learned about Joe Ely while watching a documentary on legendary Rolling Stones sax player, Bobby Keys. When not on tour with the Stones, he'd head home and join up with Ely. And recently I learned Joe was friends with The Clash and sang on "Rock The Casbah." RIP

It’s a shot from Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire with Mr Filch and Mrs Norris, his cat, preparing to drop some tunes on a comically large phonograph.

Liverpool losing all the time isn’t even fun anymore, it’s just sad. Can’t believe I’m even saying this. #COYG
