This is what I don’t get. It’s fine to make over-leveraged bets on an equity with borrowed cash if you’re a fund manager. But if you do your #DD and want to bet against said hedge, #melvincapital and #citadelinvestments will halt trading on #RobinHood and wage a PR campaign #gme.
NASDAQ lets Hedge Funds run wild all day and Wall Streeters plot/pump up their views 24/7 on CNBC & investor conferences. But at the hint of being beat at their own game Robinhood and Discord pull rug from redditors in 24 hours. My monologue today:
