They only had end-to-end encryption for one-to-one private messages. All of our messages - even one's sent via mesh network - are encrypted. — Anant

@weirdivan @AviSchiffmann @indstryoutsider Nearly all user data, save for username, public key, and profile image, are stored locally on the app and cannot be exported. Users can even choose to use the app completely locally - without alerting InternetActivism or any 3rd party that they exist as a user. - Anant
