Why are exams so focused on? It’s not what you might think: Exams are how most large orgs make money: IB, SAT, AP, A-levels… they are a revenue stream making over $1B. Look at Pearson, IB, College Prep, and Cambridge. Economic incentives drive education. Not student outcomes.

I was thinking, “did I have it easy?” I didn’t study that much. I had a great group of friends and we had fun together. I went to a good school, and had fun there too. I don’t see high school kids having fun. Instead I see them stressing about constant exams.

If you’re in Canada, use @Wealthsimple. They’re just out here actively trying to make our lives better… literally the opposite of the big Canadian banks. They’re already offering a high interest rate and have no reason to increase it. But they do it anyways?! Great company.
