My parents used to pay 50 cents an hour for 14.4kbps internet, it took minutes to connect, and we couldn't use the phone when online. Photos took minutes to load. People who don't remember this have basically no context for where we are in crypto.

This is a dumb argument. Voters should be required to show ID to prove they’re citizens. This argument has been going on for over 20 years and the people without IDs have had ample time to go get one if they want to vote.
People who last week thought ether was going to $10k and bitcoin was going to $100k are saying the bull run might be over. I’m starting to think traders might mostly be making shit up.
There was a time I was sure bitcoin would never go above $10k. When I sold countless eth at $11 because it was possible it would end up a failed experiment or regulated out of existence. Today the market is down but we have come so far and this is still just the beginning.
@peachlybeloved
Alright it’s one of Keith harrington’s final pieces before he died of AIDS. He was the guy who did all the human line art style from the 90s. You can see the pattern on this work.
The IRS could hire the world’s best designers to improve the UX of filing and paying taxes to reduce friction and increase reporting and payment. Instead they want to monitor every bank account with over $600.
To mint
@texturepunx
you need to follow me. This wasn’t so I’d get more followers. It was initially a way to keep minting low because I only had 8k followers and I didn’t realize people would choose to suffer through my shitty tweets just for a jpeg.
Don’t ape into
@texturepunx
because you think I’m going to pump the floor. I won’t. Don’t buy them for utility. There is none. Don’t buy one because of who I am. Don’t buy one because it will make you cool. It won’t. Buy one because you like them and you want one.
Since a lot of people still don't understand how
@texturepunx
works I made this shitty video in imovie to show you, even though I have the world's worst headache and you should already know by now.
Ethereum is too expensive, Solana is broken, Cardano doesn't even exist. It's a shit show out here in crypto. Thankfully all the talent and interest is flooding in to
#Bitcoin
now.
Ethereum makes him feel unappreciated, overworked, and undervalued. Avalanche makes him feel good and inspired. They’ll also offer him tokens and some multiple of his current salary. You do the math.
Spent the last 2 days in Barcelona at the Avalanche Summit and it was sooo pleasant to again feel the vibe of this industry we're building.
Shoutout to
@el33th4xor
for the invite and the Ava Labs team for chatting with me 2 days straight. Felt like the early days of Ethereum!
Breaking character again for a sec. My dad is still in icu, they’re waking him up and hopefully everything goes smoothly. He will have another surgery in a few days to remove the heart support device once he’s strong enough. All your love and support has meant the world to him.
It’s crazy that people use tiny computers that fit in their pockets and connect them wirelessly to the greatest source of information ever assembled in the history of humanity to convince each other that the world’s problems are worse than they’ve ever been.
Remember as you press the purchase button on your
@texturepunx
, that despite the fact NFTs are stupid, you are in fact living in the future, and you will own it forever. Or until you are tricked into pressing a button that steals all your assets.

the proposed $600 IRS reporting requirement for banks is “absolutely not” a way for the government to peek into American’s pocketbooks but to hold billionaires accountable.
A random guy came up to me last night while I was wearing a balloon backpack, handed me his phone opened to opensea, asked me if I knew what it was. Then he pointed at his bored ape and said “that’s me.” 🤦♂️
Most people’s opinions don’t actually matter, so disowning family members or defriending people with divergent beliefs from you is not really necessary.
This may surprise a lot of people but when we thought of ethereum the goal wasn’t to get people to spend all their time trying to be first in line in the next big ponzi.
I did five or six polls last year asking what would hit 10k first, eth, or my follower count. I always lost the vote. Now i've won the battle, but tbh I would rather have eth @ 10k. To my new followers - welcome, I hate you already.
@espiers
You’ve ridden the subway and never been harassed by a lunatic? Or is the half naked part the qualifier. I only lived there two years and shared train cars with plenty of sketchy mentally ill people.
Did we give you VIP? Are you struggling to mint your second
@texturepunx
? Ask yourself: Did I immediately try to flip my punx? Did texture warn you not to do that? Do actions have consequences?
Yeah they do. Get the fuck out of the champagne room. Real ones only.
@josephdelong
Because prodigies shine when permission is not required. I spent my life being stopped by people who wanted me to prove I could do something before I was allowed to do it. And they often couldn’t understand what I was talking about when I explained it.
People don't realize Vitalik honored every promise he ever made, even to people who didn't deserve it. He is built different from anyone else in this space and I will defend him to the death.
To all my very good friends who I love and have supported
@texturepunx
since the beginning but totally fucking forgot to submit your wallet address for VIP, send me a DM. I too have fucked up every mint a friend has done and I have prepared for this moment.
Gonna break character for a minute and say thanks to all the people in the
@texturepunx
discord who gave kind words of support about my dad being in the hospital. We had a lot of things planned for this week but family comes first, I hope you all understand and I appreciate you.
Do your or someone you know hate NFTs and crypto enough that you have made that hatred part of your core identity? I will pay $500 per hour long podcast interview.
You guys wanted an NFT you'd have a chance to actually buy. You guys wanted an NFT that didn't have whales snatch all of them. You wanted an NFT that you liked and not some random bullshit. You wanted an NFT that didn't price you out with gas spikes. We did that. 🤷♂️

You can’t. Also sleep is really difficult to manage with a baby and there are a ton of adjustments that need to be made. “Paternity leave is for pussies” is a weird slogan.
In crypto there are so many projects it's hard to know which ones are legitimate and which ones aren't. The guys over at Avalanche have been working hard for years to move crypto forward and they don't deserve any hate. 😘

Jack doesn’t understand web3. He doesn’t know what it is. He doesn’t know how it works. He doesn’t know who is building it. He fundamentally misunderstands the value of blockchain because he got lost in the garden of 21 million coins.
@mdudas
We have bigger issues if a tweet stifles hopes and dreams. Currently it’s not wrong. Critique can help fix, or divert energy to something more important.
What happened is they have become “views maximalists” so they can maximize revenue. They don’t care about the community or the people who built it. They apparently make over $2 million a year.
Apparently David refused having
@iamtexture
on Bankless because he was allegedly being toxic on Twitter.
Texture, the $ETH co-founder who designed the ETH logo, is not worth their time, but Bitboy and "Cockpunch" guy are. 🤣
There was once a great Podcast... what happened?
You can criticize my twitter persona but name someone else who shitposted ~$350k into eth core devs wallets last month. I'm here to support this community and to use every tool at my disposal to make sure that the vision we started with is the world we build.
The Ethereum community doesn’t even remember what Ethereum was going to be. Most of the community wasn’t there, and the new voices drown out the old. Those of us who were there in the beginning are either gone and burned out or so deep in technicals that there is no more vision.
