Missed in the high skilled immigration discourse, is that immigrants go disproportionately into technical roles. This means that the white normies benefit from the increased tech activity by getting tech sales + HR jobs, while the white autist has to compete against the world.
You’d be pretty heartless to not empathize with my technically adept students from Kansas, Iowa, Idaho who pay their own tuition while working on a ranch, but can’t find entry level tech work after school because of billion dollar H1B visa mills. They’d love to have a mortgage.
