@virginia_gao and I found out we were #boardcertified while sitting next to our residency program director in grand rounds, which felt very apt. The @WCMCNeurology ’22 squad all passed! @mrobbinsmd, the neuro kids are alright! @hwang_mu_ji #sambruce ❤️🧠

I’ll never understand ophthalmologists who get mad at people for calling a consult. Medical education has ensured that we are the only ones who know where on the head the eyeballs are located. Lmao what did you expect?

When you publish, let people know by posting it on @Twitter. You will get cited more often. This has been shown over and over again (even for those of us with less than 58k followers).
An amazing *randomized trial* on Twitter+academia: 112 papers were randomly chosen to be shared on twitter by a group with ~58k followers or to not be shared. Papers that were tweeted accumulated 4x more citations compared to non-tweeted papers over 1yr. https://t.co/82doGP0kha

1/2 Let's acknowledge our #NeurologyHeroes! Neurology residents are being redeployed to care for COVID patients in ICUs/ERs and managing acute stroke in extremely difficult settings. They are overworked & underpaid but can't be under-appreciated!! Let's acknowledge them!

More aggressive strategies in the treatment of multiple sclerosis have created an opportunity for physicians to refine the way they address a first demyelinating event, and perhaps change the course of disease. #MultipleSclerosis
