My coworker found out I’m a songwriter and brought me a full sheet of lines and thoughts and lyrics.
That she brought it and entrusted it to my care is amazing.
I tried my best to honor her vision and write two songs from what she had. What a blessed thing to do.

My 79 year old dad just took an assistant coach job at the local high school boys basketball team and I love everything about that.
His doctor said he needed to get comfortable cuz he was probably gonna be around til his 90s so he went back to coaching.

Today I sang for the funeral of a man who had been on the volunteer fire department for 57 years. Have you been to a funeral where they do the fireman’s last call? It is ugly cry inducing for even the strongest of constitutions. Very emotional. Cheers, Donnie.
