"The govt can hide behind convenient “not official policy” excuses. It’s patently clear that it is instructing AtW staff to make de facto🪓🪓. What it can’t hide is the very real result. Bcos disabled communities won’t stop speaking out & exposing the govt’s sham excuses..."⤵️

“They are in economic terms, a massive national asset propping up the system for free. If they were recognised, funded & supported– the whole state would function better. & if they ever stopped? The UK economy would find out instantly just how much it depended on them all along.

We don’t talk about this enough 👇 Unpaid carers in the UK provide care worth £183 BILLION a year. That’s more than the entire NHS England budget. This invisible workforce is keeping the system standing — but most get: no salary no pension contributions no sick pay very

I've written up some initial thoughts on the government's response to the Pathways to Work consultation. There were 48,000 responses to this consultation. Many people oppose the basic principles and key changes (cuts) proposed by the government. https://t.co/kvjP1sewjX

Really not good. PIP changes will be considered for all claimants including existing ones - upending a win we made when the green paper was going through parliament- and PIP still to be the gateway benefit though many are in LCWRA not PIP as they serve different needs.
