As @continetti noted recently, “inflation & independents” are key to 2026 outcomes. @CookPolitical Poll Tracker, @CNBC, & @WSJPolitics polls find Trump underwater on economy & indies, but it has stabilized/improved since April. As such, no surprise to see Trump doing all he can.

So, again we’re at war in Middle East with no clear strategy, goal, or exit plan & little American support. Trump put U.S. troops, diplomats, and civilians in harm's way because he can’t stomach the hard-nosed diplomacy necessary and we’re all less safe because of his decision.
