#MillFire lost a ton of steam once it got out of slope alignment. Very positive development. They're doing a good job picking up spots. Let's hope this trend continues. #GoldComplexFire

We had to evacuate from the #GoldComplexFire. There were multiple fires close to each other that merged plus two other major fires in the area, it was very scary. Huge thanks to #CalFire for their efforts. They saved so many homes last night. 🙏 #California #wildfire #fire

Yikes. #MillFire appears to have bifurcated and seems to have briefly developed a counter rotating vortex pair. This is a BIG watch out, and led to a fatality on the El Dorado fire. Stay frosty...rapid growth is highly likely. #goldcomplexfire #goldcomplex

And that time is now. It's Fire O'Clock on the Plumas, and likely nothing will stop the westerly diurnal winds from pushing the #MillFire to chew up 3-6k acres over the next few hours.
