Add that to the local bus service running once an hour and stopping at 6pm just how do people without cars get around?

They often block the top of the stairs chatting and the regular platform switches are always announced too late to get across so people miss their train as they dont wait for or help people. Dispatch is always chaotic too

@swtrains_watch @MrNickKnowles @CrossCountryUK The problem is that during the 1990s Cross country were starting to benefit from cascaded HSTs from the East Coast when the class 90s came on stream. It’s only when CC got rid of them & replaced them with the dross they have now, that CC majorly went downhill with shorter trains

@swtrains_watch question for you! How often does the signal failures at Southampton happen? Or atleast, how often have you guys noted the signalling system issues in that area?

SWR had to submit a rescue plan to the ORR last week after being flagged as one of the worst for helping disabled & elderly passengers. If nationalisation was supposed to bring better standards and accountability, we’re still waiting for it to arrive. 🚆📉 @SW_Help @Heidi_Labour
