Been learning nativescript, this is definitely gonna be my go-to for mobile apps 🚀 I was able to integrate my existing self-rolled cookie auth in Hono without a hitch (I can see it working for better-auth as well). Genuinely this makes mobile feel like webdev.

In my Tic Tac Toe app, I used NativeScript’s animate() API for all animations - it gives smooth, logic-tied transitions as it runs JS thread. Many animations can cause frame drops or memory buildup, and need manual cleanup to avoid leaks or OOM errors. #nativescript #animation

Have you tried creating a mobile app with @boltdotnew? I just tried it and discovered it uses @NativeScript, which is not something I've used before. NativeScript enables you to do live previews of your app that run directly on your mobile device. I think it's a competitor

After struggling for a couple of days, I have finally updated NativeScript NAPI Runtime for Android from V8 11 to 13.8.9 and I have seen massive increase in app size, almost 35%. For now I guess I am going to keep v11 & v13 both so people can choose whichever suits them.

Ok, @NativeScript + @solid_js is actually perfect. ✨ Can't believe how polished nativescript is. Why isn't anyone talking more about them! I installed tailwind and have typesafe routing out-of-the-box. Took me like literally 10 minutes.

It's pretty amazing that you can just render native Apple UIKit components using JavaScript in NativeScript, however almost all their frameworks integration are outdated except for Angular 💀
