Why dangerous? Galactica generates text that's grammatical and feels real. This text will slip into real scientific submissions. It will be realistic but wrong or biased. It will be hard to detect. It will influence how people think. (5/9)

Very interesting piece on deadlines and time management, and how to use them in education, worth reading! Thanks @RobertTalbert Wondering if you found studies splitting by demographics (eg socioeconomic, gender) -> are some groups more likely to ask for deadline extensions?
As people are starting to put syllabi together, a research-based reminder that most deadlines in the real world are not firm, and asking for extensions is not only OK, it can make the asker look more competent. Write your policies accordingly.
