All true. But the same rigour should be applied to ALL the antibodies we use. Those against glucokinase are a case in point.
In some of these papers, glp1r detection is a small element. In others it's a large element. Don't trust antibody vendors, and do the legwork. As a field we are always happy to provide reagents/models to help with validation.
