Priming Metal Miniatures!. Tested some priming methods, half the miniatures were soaked in white vinegar for 2 hours and then rinsed in an attempt to etch the surface to aid paint adherence. Durability tested by scrubbing with a toothbrush for 3 seconds.

You don’t need players! @NotJonMollison , @WorldofWeirth have tons of videos proving you don’t NEED players!.
I love players, I need players to play the game, but their ability to figure game-related hypotheticals is hamstrung if they never run a session. They know if something is fun AS it’s happening, but their wants in theory have a way of evaporating against their wants in practice.

Utopianism is satanic.
By 2030, all jobs will be replaced by AI and robots. Easily. The US labor force is about 170 million workers. About 80 million of those jobs include hands-on work. Automated systems can work four shifts a week. Replacing all physical labor would require about 20 million.

What a good game tonight! Party fought two water weirds. Blew them up with explosive gas. Got some giant beavers to gather the treasure for them (a magic-user could talk to them, they were grateful the weirds were dead). Reincarnated a character who died, who is now an Ogre Mage.

Follow-up rules for my games:.Physical bullets: exploding dice damage for damage rolls, they either hurt you about as much as a sword, or they hurt you a whole lot.Laser weapons: ignore armor but no excess damage due to small hole and automatic cauterization.Plasma weapons: same.

Everyone who says the RPG system doesn’t matter isn’t playing a game. They are only part of an improv group that isn’t good enough to have a public audience.
In RPGs the system is less important than the adventure. I can have fun with d20, THAC0, d6, d10, d12, weird shit like Savage Worlds, dice pools, d100. Just doesn't matter.

I see a lot of publishers whine that it costs extra to format the pdf. Having done layout for print and pdf before I can tell you it should not cost extra. The gutters on your pdf might look a little wonky, but it can easily be the same file.
Strange that my college textbooks even came with digital content, but modern RPG books don't. This isn't a WotC thing, most online marketplaces don't throw in a free pdf with physical books. How much extra does it cost to throw in a free PDF? Why does no one do this?.
