@whelan0kkult I love 1e because it is the most complete system, that answers the most questions that arise in session, and it produces the longest lasting campaigns. Training levels, grading players, and the heavy metal feel of 1e is superior to the deviless/demonless “safe” 2e.

Ok for someone like me, who is attempting to get back into D&D. Which is better AD&D 1e or AD&D 2e? As a teen I played ton's of AD&D 2e. But I see a lot of people on here talk about AD&D 1e. Which is better and why? #ttrpgcommunity #osr #DnD.

I’m getting the AD&D itch again.
