The city of Chicago should adopt a “nothing new” spend policy, at least as a first thought. When a purchase is necessary, especially of physical goods, the city of Chicago should aim to in-source said items. @RheaplyInc wants to help. This could lead to millions of savings!.
Putting aside that Chicago can't institute its own corporate, wealth or income taxes. IL corps pay the second highest tax rate in the US (9.5%) and the millionaires and billionaires he decries already pay some of highest property and sales taxes in US. Also, they are mobile!
