So, @GovCanHealth updated #Measles infection prevention guidance Jan. N95s for staff AND VISITORS if measles suspected. And it can be asymptomatic, so ... Surprise! Bonnie Henry is NOT in line with best practice &/or DGAF about protecting HCWs or public. https://t.co/DTNhEMosM0

This may be one of the most important studies in a decade. #LongCovidBinder. "The models produced correctly classified those with severe ME/CFS from recovered controls with an accuracy of 97%, sensitivity of 94%, and specificity of 100%. " THAT IS HUGE.

Chicago researchers followed 4501 college students and found that those with low pre-illness IL-5 and IL-13, plus gut issues, had an 80% chance of developing ME/CFS after Epstein–Barr mononucleosis. https://t.co/5f72UHqRw6

On March 11, 2020, when much of the world was screaming for things to be locked down, Dr. Henry, herself no stranger to pandemics, told the country and the world that "we have very low risk." Time was lost, and soon, lives. There's never been an accounting of these failures.

1/ Imagine being told COVID wasn't a threat, then fighting for your life on a ventilator. That's Michael's story, & it's happening in Sweden. The early pandemic narrative here was deeply flawed. #LongCovid #SwedenPandemic #COVIDisAirborne

Shocking revelations surfaced in The NYT regarding the recent phone calls between Trudeau and Trump. According to the report, Trump, while listing grievances against Canada, expressed his desire to revise the border between the US and Canada without providing any justification

Two paramedics in N95 respirators. An MD in a surgical mask. Unmasked staff in the hallway behind. A photo that speaks a lot about a contributor to health care system overload. A failure to take respiratory protection seriously and to follow the scientific consensus.

Patients with no medical training are sometimes totally right. They say I think I'm having a retinal detachment, heart attack or pneumonia. I welcome this. The challenge is to be a resource steward, address the concern and keep an open mind. Patients can be totally right.

Excellent interview, worth a listen. 2 small corrections: we’re not Post-Covid but rather still dealing with an ongoing pandemic though #Influenza and #H5N1 are now taking centre stage. As for #CO2 on planes, it is not affected by filtration, only by air exchange or ventilation.

Jesse Marsch (an American) said the things that Ian Hanomansing couldn't quite manage regarding the unhinged American aggression towards Canada. It's a useful contrast in character.

It‘s COVID and immune dysfunction from multiple bouts of COVID. Your government has lied to you. We see COVID every day and more than half are shocked “it’s still around’. Each infection increases the odds of Long COVID and there is a good chance your life expectancy is reduced
