Why have BBC Scotland reporters been blocked from covering this story? Why has Sarwar not been asked about the claim the party was informed about this a month before Duncan-Glancy was exposed? Why hasn't she been suspended? Why is Sarwar being protected? https://t.co/dgefZ3rGH8

Pam Duncan-Glancy stood down as the party's education spokeswoman earlier this month after admitting a "serious error of judgement".

Just to clear something up, The money spent on PPE was not “wasted” It was not “misappropriated” It was stolen… From all of us. Money that could have saved thousands of lives was stolen!

Could somebody please explain to me why refurbishing the Houses of Parliament will cost £15billion and take 28 years, when the French could rebuild Notre Dame for £550million in just five years? I'm assuming we aren't gold-plating the plaster, so what is the British problem here?
EXCL: One of the main options for restoration of the Palace of Westminster could cost £15 billion, peers have heard. Official costings were due to be published in the new year, but Tory peer Lord Forsyth blurted it out at a hustings for the job of Lord Speaker.

Labour members of the Welsh Senned openly attacked their Westminster party over the decision to bypass the Welsh parliament and fund councils directly. Extraordinary scenes in the Senned chamber. Can you imagine Scottish Labour standing up for Scotland like this? No chance.

BBC Scotland's 'Grooming Gangs' campaign began in June when it platformed Scottish Labour MP Joani Reid who was demanding John Swinney hold an inquiry. It later emerged that Reid had voted against such an inquiry in England. The Labour MP was never challenged about this.
Joani Reid, the Scottish Labour MP all over BBC Scotland today demanding John Swinney hold a national inquiry into grooming gangs, voted against holding a national inquiry into grooming gangs five months ago. Oops. @JoaniReid

@AnasSarwar Lied to the public, you say. cannot remain in post? This you?
Anas Sarwar promised in the 2024 Westminster election that Labour would save the jobs at Grangemouth. Labour broke that promise.

One for the nay sayers. Prestwick Airport, rescued by the SNP is now in profit. £3 million this year and £2 million the previous year. Now is a hub for freight traffic worldwide. The branch manager Unionist politicians we have in Scotland would have dumped it. Well done SNP.

The sheer hypocrisy of this man . He voted previously for the 2 child cap . Then he is pressured by the SNP to abolish it . They know no shame .
This week, as a Labour Government, we took action in the Budget to lift children out of poverty - that will help 1620 kids living here in East Lothian.

Frank seems happy at the removal of the abhorrent two child cap. Also Frank: Frank McNally voted against an immediate removal of the two child benefit cap in a key vote in July 2024 In March 2025, McNally also backed futher benefit cuts to those most in need. Extraordinary.
Just some of the provisions in today’s budget: ✅ Child poverty tackled ✅ Wages on the rise ✅ Energy bills slashed ✅ Austerity rejected @ScottishLabour @UKLabour

Any journalist or reporter claiming Anas Sarwar wanted Keir Starmer to scrap the two child cap sooner is quite literally lying. Sarwar made it clear time & again he agreed with Keir Starmer on the policy.
A week before the election Anas Sarwar told BBC Scotland that defence spending was the "first priority" of the new Labour Govt and scrapping the two child benefit cap was not possible because the money wasn't there yet. BBC Scotland is now pretending he didn't say this.

@CalumAM Erm it’s the Barnett Formula, for which Wales and NI receive an equivalent. It’s not extra money given as some sort of gift from WM. Honestly this kind of nonsense is patronising and will only serve to speed up the inevitable collapse of the union.
