Especially, rsChRmine enables in vivo 3-color "all-optical type-to-type" with our XCaMP sensors (blue & green): causally interrogating how distinct cell-types communicate with each other. This is kind of dream experiment when I was grad student.

I agree with this point. That's why we developed XCaMPs, which showed faster, larger SNR, linear to spikes than GCaMP6. But, maybe faster GECIs is still desire.

@AndrewHires @gottapatchemall 2-3 uW 385 nm is enough to detect FP signal because XCaMP-B is bright. Indeed, I haven't seen any significant tissue damage so that I was able to record XCaMP-B signal for six months.
