Last night. In Caulfield. Jews in our community came out of their houses to find a bunch of anti-Israel thugs protesting against them. They responded by singing songs of peace and finished with our anthem, Hatikvah. They did invite the pro-Palestinians to sing their anthem too 🤷🏻♀️

This article doesn’t accurately cover the vitriol that was directed towards our community the night that they protested outside a synagogue; they paint it as a clash between two sides. The owner knew that it wasn’t a hate crime from the beginning but sowed the seeds of hate.

Following my tweet yesterday I wanted to issue an official apology to all of the people in my replies who are so triggered by Israeli hostages returning home. I am sorry you are so fragile that your heart cannot handle sympathy for multiple tragedies at the same time.
Just picked up my kids from school and my 4.5 year old just asked “did anyone get released today mummy?” And that’s just a normal question in December 2023.
