Unacceptable. 90+ minutes of Amazon's deflections while their system stole my ₹1100 balance. Their policy? 'Our errors cost us. Their errors also cost us.' Finally received a patronizing email essentially saying 'Go hell. i dont care' corporate gaslighting at its finest.

Why the hell should I keep paying for Amazon’s mistakes? Your app misallocated my money, your agents admitted it, yet NOBODY can fix it. Who’s responsible? Who’s getting fired for this? I want names, not ‘we can’t do anything’ excuses.

That’s when I snapped. ‘How dare you shrug off your mistake as my burden? You take ₹1100 hostage, demand ₹508 more for a ₹50 ‘offer,’ then tell me to ‘use it elsewhere’? And your best defence is ‘I can’t do anything’? Pathetic.

She told me to pay ₹1 more via ‘Set-Up Now’ button in Check out Page. It worked! Then: ‘Now pay ₹508 extra to activate ₹50 offer.’ Me: ‘But my ₹1100?’ She: ‘Use it elsewhere.’.

After endless back-and-forth, she still refused to believe me. Insisting I’d added money to a Gift Card, not my Wallet. I told her, ‘I didn’t even know that was an option! If the system redirected my payment, why wasn’t it shown during checkout?’ Silence. No explanation.

At this point, I’m convinced Amazon’s support is just a flowchart of ‘Transfer’ buttons. The call reached another ‘superior,’ who actually spoke to the A.P.B team. But after I explained everything again, she put me on hold and went back to them. By then, I’d already wasted 1 hr.

She repeated the SAME broken record. Zero solutions. Then came the grand ‘fix’ like, ‘Just pay using A.P.B. You’ll get ₹25 now and ₹25 later.’ How? When the system won’t even recognise my existing balance? Blank silence. Her ‘solution’? Fwded the call to yet another ‘superior'.

I couldn’t even get angry, just laughed. Does Amazon specifically recruit agents who lack basic training? I had to explain him, ‘Brother, the A.P.B activation offer is from Amazon, not some random seller.’ After this crash course in Amazon 101, he transferred me to a ‘superior’.

Despite my A.P.B (₹1,105) clearly reflecting in the app, the morning support agent failed to resolve the issue. Instead of addressing why my A.P.B wasn't being applied, he diverted with a new theory, 'The seller's offer might be unavailable. Have you tried other products?'.

By the end of the call, the Amazon person claimed my money wasn’t in my Wallet. It was added to a Gift Card instead. I was shocked. When I paid during checkout using ‘Set-Up Now,’ it clearly displayed ‘Add Money to Wallet.’ How did it end up as a Gift Card balance? Makes no sense

They claimed ‘nobody from the A.P.B team is available now. call back tomorrow.’ Seriously? Is this a 9-to-5 bank or a 24/7 ecommerce platform? Unbelievable that Amazon, which pushes instant orders, can’t staff one person to handle A.P.B issues overnight. Who designed this system?.

I added money to my A.P.B (₹1,105), but the checkout page still shows a payment request of 'Only ₹509 to avail the offer.' Since my balance already covers this, I’m confused why the system isn’t recognising it. I contacted customer care for clarification but haven’t resolved.
