Almost no one in politics cosplaying as working class doesn’t come from wealth, particularly if they seem like a maverick. Working class origin politicians tend to have patrons and flux with that. See the Vice President. Keep that in mind and start doing material analysis.

The difference is that none of those people were blessed by the ruling power structures, whereas Platner (as shown by his enthusiastic endorsement by Bernie Sanders and every Pfake Left flunky like Ryan Grim) clearly has been.
