With all the virus rates up I decided to call into an industry mtg this week since I’m flying to the parents on Sun, but one of my team members went in person. He received a notice that someone at the mtg tested positive with Covid. Eek! Be safe out there!

Amen! We visited my Dad in nursing care yesterday and he was extremely upset and wishing he was dead. My Mom talked to the nurses and found out that for some reason his anti-anxiety medicine got dropped. She pushed them to get the Dr to fix it and today he was so much better!

I’m officially on Christmas vacation the rest of the year!! Unfortunately, my flight to Palm Springs was delayed several hours, but I’ll get there later tonight to spend several days celebrating a friend’s birthday. 🎉

Go for it! This last year, I didn’t take mine down until March, although I did change out the ornaments to St. Patrick’s Day green for a while. 🤷♂️ I live alone and didn’t see family for the holidays… and it helped me get through the Covid winter.

Nice talking to my Dad’s friend since boyhood today… He voted for Trump in 2016 and agrees he’s dangerous and should never be in office again. Gives me a little hope. 🙏🏼

She has started getting a little help with the tree and some of the other decorations as I think she finally agrees that ladders are not a wise idea for her. But she still works on it and the other decorations for days. She’s always been very creative!

Gwenith (left), the last of my Dad’s 3 sisters passed today, so all of my aunts/uncles on my Dad’s side are gone. That doesn’t make one feel old at all… Dorthy (center) passed a few years ago. Lucy passed many years before. Dad turned 80 here. He’ll be 87 in Apr. ❤️❤️❤️

Stopping for lunch at an airport restaurant and one of their burgers is called the “Fat Doug”! 😳 I laughed and told the waitress that was kind of hurtful and she said I was her first Doug… usually people just say they know a Doug. 🤣🤣
