They had 20 years to put their house in order. These people are not children, they're adults and need to take responsibility for their animals, not blame 80% of the pop for calling out criminality

There are an estimated 20,000 foxhounds in the U.K. Those who want to ban trail hunting - hounds and horses chasing a scent trail laid by man - would lead to them all being put down. That’s what ignorant “animal rights” campaigners want. 20,000 dead dogs. So here’s an AI

Dogs also chase farm animals if not on a lead in the countryside Nigel. And so very rarely will catch a wild animal. It takes a pack of 30 trained dogs to do that and a crew of redcoats on horseback steering them. There's no comparison here. @Nigel_Farage

So now Labour wants to ban trail hunting. You might as well ban walking dogs in the countryside as they chase rabbits, hares, deer and foxes. Labour are authoritarian control freaks.

The real disgrace in UK's welfare bill is that so much of it is spent on people in work. We are subsidising jobs that do not pay enough to live on. If we genuinely made sure work paid a decent living, then we would not have such a high bill.

🚨BREAKING: New data shows that even our most protected river sites are unsafe for swimming - another sign that regulators are FAILING to hold polluters to account. Enough is ENOUGH. The upcoming Water Bill must make polluters pay. Public health, the environment, and our economy

Ever wondered where your tax money actually goes? 💷 @BBCNews broke it down by imagining we each handed the Government £100. Here’s how that £100 was spent in 2023–24: £22 → NHS £6 → Defence £10 → Education £10 → Debt interest £11.40 → State pensions £4.15 → Working-age

It’s International Men’s Day, and we want to talk about one of the biggest issues that men face today and what can be done to tackle it. Suicide is the biggest killer of men under 50, and men account for three-quarters of all deaths by suicide. 🧵 1/5

This is why we need regulators like the EA to regulate not ‘enable growth’ This is what deregulation looks like. This is what happens when you remove environmental protections and defund enforcement.

At the 500ft long pile of rubbish by River Cherwell in Oxfordshire 🤢 ONLY 0.14% of fly-tipping cases end in prosecution. Authorities have let fly-tipping become LEGAL. Time to end this. We've launched the DIRTY DASHBOARD to pressure councils to ACT. Check where yours ranks 👇

Criminal gangs are being blamed for the huge mountain of waste that has been dumped close to a village in Oxfordshire. The rubbish is being called an "environmental catastrophe" - and is up to 150m long and 6m high. @nityagrajan with more.

The continuing efforts of local river guardians to investigate the Cherwell waste dump are really highlighting the utter incompetence of @EnvAgency & their failure to uphold the law. It now appears that complaints about the rubbish were made by local people as far back as May &

one of the reasons we can't have nice thinks in the UK is because every time someone posts an obviously scandalous train ticket price, 300 pedants come out the woodwork to say 'actually if you book at midnight on a tuesday on a full moon while whistling dixie you can save 3%"

Robbie Gibb was appointed to the BBC Board by Boris Johnson, was an editorial advisor for GB News, and worked as Theresa May's Director of Comms. He is not impartial or neutral. The government should remove him from the Board immediately to protect the BBC's independence.

Last night, Peers voted against Swift bricks: rejecting a simple, proven way to help one of our fastest declining birds recover. ❌ We share @WriterHannahBT's disappointment & frustration. The vote came late, but with government refusing to back it, its fate was already sealed.

It boggles my mind that some people object to their taxes being used to help feed hungry children, but they are absolutely fine with paying more tax because billionaires don't want to pay their share.

BAD NEWS💔if the vote had taken place earlier we would have won-Tories (majority) whipped YES but by the time of the vote, support had gone home just like 2 years ago. It is an AGONISING reality. Tell steve.reed.mp@parliament.uk what you think. GUTTED. Labour: what a betrayal 😡
