TrollStore on M1, without a jailbreak. Done using a private WIP build of PureKFD. No, there are no ETAs. Thx to @noxwelle & shg8 from the PureKFD Discord for the KFD on M1/M2 fixes, and @Lrdsnow101 for access to the private repo. (I finished the code to get TS installed)

ElleKit 1.1.2 is now out on and fixes an issue that can occur if palera1n and meowbrek2 are both used on the same device and the device is booted with palera1n. If you are on 1.1.1 and are experiencing issues, jailbreak using meowbrek2 and update.

I've released (lib)partial today, a small Objective-C library to grab files from remote ZIP files, mainly Apple's OTAs and IPSWs, and I've learned a lot about ZIP files in the process. It's still rough around the edges, but I hope you'll check it out!

It's come to our attention that there's a website purporting to be the official website for OCLP and emailing others falsely claiming so. Our only official website is (+ for misc things). Any others are fake and possibly malicious.

Please make sure that when you download OCLP, it's from the GitHub releases page of the official repository, especially as this is software that makes fairly deep changes to your system.

@roothideDev These are dists, not package arches. These can be changed at any time and the only thing it would affect is the apt repo URL. They have no bearing on the package arch - I could call my dist abc for example and it would work fine.

@ClassicII_MrMac Sonoma has the new frameworks as it was released 2 days ago, but no older macOS updates were released, so they pushed this out for iOS 17 compatibility. I don't know if this build also fixes VMs or if the build on the developer portal is special in that regard.

@ClassicII_MrMac And if you don't have an iOS device on 17, you would never see the update dialog, so it makes sense why they pushed this separately. There are now 3 versions of MobileDevice/CoreTypes floating around: - Catalog: 1533.120.10 - Sonoma: 1643.0.2.505.2 - Dev Portal: 1643.0.10.100.2

@ClassicII_MrMac This is an update to the MobileDevice and CoreTypes frameworks, the same ones involved with interacting with your iOS/iPadOS/etc devices (til it's used with VMs too). An update for this was pushed yesterday, but this has a higher build # and some other interesting changes.

@c22_dev @MasterMike88 iOS 17.0 worked because it was a release firmware, and even though it disappeared from the release channel, that release firmware was still on the beta channel and was still delay OTA signed. macOS signing is special, isn't representative of iOS, and has its own caveats.

@MrNutSackMan @aaronp613 They generally come with stable versions that are specific to the new hardware and aren't available as OTA or IPSWs - ie 20A357 for the iPhone 14 series

@DylanMcD8 @nicolas09F9 @averynbenson For free dev certs, it doesn't matter whether the app is already installed or if the developer is already trusted (have another app installed) or not. It will still fail. AC2 will fail too, the only way to install it is through Xcode/ideviceinstaller/Sideloadly/etc.

@ClassicII_MrMac Oh, but it gets even better. For at least one person, what's in the catalog didn't work for them for iOS 17 + Ventura. But dev portal build works. The catalog has 1533.120.10. Ventura 13.5 b1 (don't have b2 atm) ships with 1533.120.9. Did they upload the wrong version???

@Genxster4 @zhuowei I didn't try everything, but: no-container/no-sandbox/container-required won't work Technically persona-mgmt works. However sandbox blocks apps from using posix_spawn in the first place, so you would need to get around that somehow

@ClassicII_MrMac (The update pushed yesterday was to fix this: afaik, macOS doesn't install MobileDevice updates automatically. I presume it's because they generally update it by updating the shipped versions in macOS updates, and you don't often get new hardware/iOS versions.)

@zhuowei @Genxster4 Hacking up ldid for this isn't too hard but it's not really worth it on iOS as Sandbox isn't vulnerable: the only entitlement I got working was .private.getprivatesysid (checked in kernel), which just lets you run gethostuuid

Luckily, you can enroll in the Sonoma developer/public beta from Ventura, and get the macOS 14 update catalog that way (which does contain the new installer), but this doesn't help people who erased their Mac:
@nicolas09F9
Nicolás Álvarez

I have seen a few people who contacted Apple support asking for help updating to 14.1, support instructing them to erase the disk and reinstall, and the reinstall failing *because the update server is unaware these models exist* so it can't download the image to install. (2/4)
