Some notes:.- This is based on the same general bugs that could also be used to untether iOS 11.- Due to how this untether works, this will not support 64-bit iOS 10 (and it will likely only support later versions of 32-bit iOS 10, though that’s TBD).- no eta’s.

A brand new untethered jailbreak for 32-bit 10.x (exact compatibility TBD) is currently being developed by staturnz. This is extremely huge news for legacy - especially since this will be the first new iOS version with a public untethered jailbreak for end users since iOS 9.

For the handful of people interested, an implementation of this that works/is simple for end users is now present in Legacy iOS Kit (. This is possible as well thanks to @mineekdev writing a patchfinder for the restored_external patches.
Courtesy of @mineekdev and @dedbeddedbed, there is now a method to go use blobs to restore to 14.3-15.7.2 on an iPhone X. Previously it was believed to not be possible due to some SEP incompatibility on Face ID devices with 14.3-15.7.2. (Note: This method requires effort)

random question: hypothetically if I wanted to try to buy a *banned* Switch 2 console (just the console - no cables, no joycons, no dock, just the console itself) off of somebody, what would be a reasonable price to pay?.

Some other obvious things to note:.- Face ID will not work.- This has all the same shortcomings that currently appear with 16.x SEP on 14.x/15.x (e.g. needing to dump activation tickets beforehand, non-TrollStore sideloading being broken, etc.).- This only refers to the iPhone X.

99% of the people using it were using it for some degree of piracy anyways, but regardless how you were using it, you *should know* it would be targeted given its use for piracy. The only concern I have is the used/return market being a dumpster fire now.

The JIT changes are back in 26.0b1.
The JIT changes that were seen in 18.4b1 are officially confirmed to be making a comeback at some point. Per a recent response from Apple, the functionality was reverted back to give "affected folks time to deal with this", but the behavior will come back in a future release.
