Still a ways to go, but @staturnzdev's untethered 32-bit iOS 10 jailbreak is going along nicely (no eta's obviously though). Here's a (very bad) video of an untethered boot on my iPad 4 on 10.3.3

EverPwnage 1.3 (developed by LukeZGD) has been released, adding support for semi-untethered 32-bit 9.3.5/9.3.6. Additionally, EverPwnage now uses oob_entry - the 100% reliable kernel exploit for all armv7 devices/iOS versions from staturnz that was released a week ago.

Expect a lot of (maintained) armv7 Legacy Jailbreaks (e.g. Aquila, EverPwnage, etc.) to be receiving updates in the next few hours/days to switch over to oob_entry - keep an eye out for those.

oob_entry exploits the same bug that’s exploited in Operation Triangulation and Trigon. In effect, this is a 100% reliable kernel exploit for all armv7 devices/firmwares. Huge news for legacy again.

More than likely, outside of small bug fixes (similar to 16.7.10) or notable security fixes (like those backported in 15.8.4/16.7.11), this will be the final notable post-EoL update to test for iPadOS 17.

Biggest thing to come out of this is that most 12.x devices - especially those that ended on 12.x - now no longer need a computer to jailbreak after the initial jailbreak run.
