If the UK scrapped net zero targets and went all in on North Sea oil and gas exploration, we wouldn’t be talking about energy bills, we’d be talking about sovereign wealth funds. Countries that develop their resources get rich. Norway did it. Saudi Arabia did it. Qatar did it.
The actual solution isn’t complicated, controversial, or hidden. It’s sitting under our feet. North Sea oil. North Sea gas. Drill it. Produce it. Use it.
