🚨 Google Wallet recently integrated ZKPs for private age verification. Many of the use-cases that have been written about for years (self-sovereign identity, private digital credentials) are finally being deployed to consumers. 2025 is the year ZK goes mainstream.

@gnosischain We made it! @gnosischain is now the first mainnet on Pectra 🥳 Participation dropped a bit (to ~88%), but all client pairs, including our new releases of @paradigm's Reth and @ethereum's Geth made it through unharmed! Now to run a full test suite for the new features.

something im wondering: how will the gas limit increase affect block propagation across the network (possibly delaying), since recently i also saw a push for faster block times.
Ethereum's execution layer scaling roadmap is on track: - Continuous Gas Limit Increases (EIP-7935) - History Expiry (EIP-4444) - Delayed Execution (EIP-7886) - Block Access Lists (EIP-7928) - Block-Level Warming (EIP-7863) Here's a short thread with additional context👇

@0xNairolf You mean... losing faith that crypto is gonna make them rich? Because hardly anyone is in it for the cypherpunk reasons. Cypherpunks have to do it right and with a superior ux. Not easy.

Don't understand this take. L2's aren't just their own chains, they depend on L1. They are just scaling layers because the EVM is a nice thing to have with L1's safety. Ofc ethereum isn't the only solution today, but ethereum is FINE the main issue here is liquidity
Ethereum wins if it stops debating L1<>L2 and how "Ethereum" they are. They're all literally their own chains and Ethereum just has a privileged position in their eco. I may stop using L1/L2 entirely. Consensus chain. Execution chain. Data availability chain.

TIL some companies ask you to make a separate github id for them. it seems the mystic concept of adding an ID to a github org hasn't reached the wider audience

Big milestone!
Reth @ Gnosis @gnosischain compatible Reth client is ready for Pectra. Not a fork, but an extension with the NodeBuilder API. https://t.co/NqpXYxOEM9

I saw a tweet a while ago about how Web2 brands nail their CTAs. Shopify says “Start selling.” Airbnb: “Find a rental.” Netflix: “Watch free for 30 days.” Web3 needs to take notes. “Join the revolution” isn’t a CTA. Be clear, tell people exactly what happens next.
