"tldr??" VeChain is a blockchain focused on real-world use cases and sustainability. It built its entire design for those needs with features like multi-party gas payment or adjustable gas fees. 🫶

Got your COMMA_CON ticket yet? It's CES, but with products you can actually buy. It's CVPR, but with research you can drive today. It's DEFCON, but we show you how to hack your own car. IRL, San Diego, November 8th. See you there.

"why that model??" It creates a loop: 1) The chain onboard more apps and users 2) More VTHO is needed for gas 3) To get VTHO, people stake VET 4) More VET staked = stronger network security The bet is that a stronger network means more apps interested. So, back to 1).

"where me buy it?" The key idea behind this dual-token model is that you don’t have to buy the gas token. You generate it by staking VET through Stargate, where you can adapt the staking period based on how much gas you need.

"and this dual token thing?" The chain uses two tokens: → VET = the main token, represents the utility part and is used for staking / securing the chain. → VTHO = what you actually use to pay gas

"and adjustable gas fees??" It's easy. In simple terms, the app or the business can control the gas fees. Instead of being dependent on the network, the app keep full control. They can set super low fees but there might be use cases where gas has to be high.

"ic but???" Basically, they have customized the chain for that. An interesting feature is multi-party gas payment. This just means users don’t always have to pay gas fees themselves. Companies or apps do it for them simply because end users shouldn't care about it.

"you said sustainability?" Yep. One of the focuses is to solve environmental challenges. It sounds a bit barbarian lol, but think tracking carbon emissions across supply chains, making data transparent, letting companies prove their green commitments, etc etc.

"wtf??" So, it’s a L1. Easy right? It's just like Solana or Ethereum. Tho, VeChain is purpose-built to enable real-world use cases. Simply put, it’s designed around the idea of plugging blockchain directly into businesses you know in real life.

the bar in crypto is still pretty low it seems crowded but its just an illusion most things are still unusable or badly designed/marketed there is way more room than people think for products that just work and look good

We are early in the execution phase of crypto. There are still hundreds of companies in our space that are zeros and they will be rectified and slaughtered. The game is still extremely soft but it will ramp up and so too will the prize.
