When the next consensus bug inevitably appears, how do you make sure your validators don't attest to the wrong fork, and thereby risk losing their stake? Come find out tomorrow at the @ethclientsummit !
ποΈ Closing the day with Luca Winter (Serenita) What happens when clients disagree on the valid chain? Luca shows how multi node validator clients such as Vero and Vouch help validators stay safe by comparing multiple implementations before voting. @SerenitaIO @serenita_luca

Six months ago, a production-ready Vero v1 was released. Today, itβs protecting tens of thousands of validators from client bugs across Ethereum and Gnosis Chain. π Next step: protect the whole network π‘οΈ
Vero v1.0.0 is now available. A new multi-node validator client that only attests when multiple clients agree. Why does this matter? β¬οΈ

Thanks to its diverse set of client implementations, Ethereum never goes down. But when those clients disagree, how do you know which one to trust? That's where multi-node validator clients, like Vero, come in to save the day:
0/ Client diversity is the secret sauce that ensures Ethereum never stops. How do multiple client implementations help Ethereum? And how do multi-node validator clients take the concept to the next level? A guest thread by @serenita_luca, CTO at @SerenitaIO.

qix yesterday, duckdb today. Supply chain attacks keep proving the same point: every added dependency means added risk. Vero sticks to just 32 dependencies. That means fewer breakages, fewer exploits, and updates we can actually review. π Stay safe out there!
In the recent npm supply chain attack, DuckDB's Node.js and Wasm packages were compromised with malware. We have investigated the issue, deprecated the affected packages and released new versions. Thankfully, according to npm, nobody has downloaded the affected versions. We have

Just to be clear: this isnβt about finger-pointing. All Ethereum clients hit bugs from time to time β itβs an inevitable part of complex software. Weβve been running Reth for over a year now and are very happy with it, especially since the 1.4.x series. π

The answer: Vero. Our validators are powered by the Vero validator client, which can connect to multiple clients at the same time. That way, if one client struggles, our validators can keep going using data from the others β staying online without missing a beat. β
