Itโs a superb book and I can highly recommend it. Not least because I have had the privilege of recording the audio version!.
Well here it is- finally got my hands on the finished article. It took a lot of work and time but itโs true that the actual moment of holding the book for the first time always feels a bit surreal. All sorts of stories about people, place and grace within.

My father, at the magnificent age of 89, is also a British Nuclear Test Veteran and has the medal to prove it. His experience was much the same. So little knowledge of the dangers. Thankfully, he survived and I still have his RAF issue sunglasses! (They glow in the dark.).
