It's a bit embarrassing to admit, but we have an idiom, 崇洋媚外 (blindly worshiping foreign things). Yes, we love foreigners! 🤣.

Very doable. China is very friendly for foreigners; we call every foreigner 老外, which is a very friendly term. The cost of living is low, including rent, groceries, and transportation. Something that costs $20 in the US only costs $2 in China, and usually of higher quality.

$10M in the US places you in the top 1.5%; $1M in China places you in the top 1%.

If you have $1M, move to China, it feels like you have $10M. The USD is powerful, but even more so when spent abroad.
