I'm a green card holder living in China. If I make any money in China, I still need to pay US federal and state taxes. Does that make sense?.

Bought a Bamboo P1S Combo for 3,059 yuan ($430), with a 539 yuan government discount. Almost all categories receive a 15%-30% subsidy. The same machine in its US store now sells for $749. It's the same thing, but US consumers need to pay $300 more.

In my 20s:. I thought I'd work in an office forever. I thought I'd live in one city my entire life. I thought trips were only for holidays. I thought money came from big companies. I thought my value was my job title. I thought taking risks was bad. I thought fun work was just a.

If I tell my 20-year-old self that I make $1M+ from 20k+ happy customers on the internet while working from cafes and hotels and traveling for the past few years, he will lose his mind.

@levelsio @levelsio @signulll We haven't gone anywhere. A lot has happened since 2022. We just closed our best quarter ever. To catch you up. - I moved the business to the enterprise. Ended last year 163% NRR with 25% of the Fortune 500 as enterprise customers. Enterprises have a.

Just got wifi installed in our Shanghai home. 300MB internet costs 749 CNY per year, which is just $104 USD. Free router, free installation, and best of all, no tips!

It's a bit embarrassing to admit, but we have an idiom, 崇洋媚外 (blindly worshiping foreign things). Yes, we love foreigners! 🤣.

Very doable. China is very friendly for foreigners; we call every foreigner 老外, which is a very friendly term. The cost of living is low, including rent, groceries, and transportation. Something that costs $20 in the US only costs $2 in China, and usually of higher quality.

$10M in the US places you in the top 1.5%; $1M in China places you in the top 1%.

If you have $1M, move to China, it feels like you have $10M. The USD is powerful, but even more so when spent abroad.
