Incurable leukemias driven by the EVI1 oncoprotein can be reversed experimentally by blocking the binding to its cofactor CTBP2.
Very excited to share our preprint (& my first (co)first-author preprint🤩) about targeting EVI1 in AML by disrupting its interaction with co-factors CTBP1/2.

Excited to share our preprint (@D_Pastoors): "MECOM is a master repressor of myeloid differentiation through dose control of CEBPA in acute myeloid leukemia"! MECOM is a TF whose overexpression leads to aggressive AML and with an immature phenotype. [1/15].

Congratulations @maadulon & coauthors on a very cool and interesting publication now out in print! ⬇️⬇️ Impressive work on beautiful 🥺, but challenging cell type that made it into stunning figures 😍.
My final PhD paper is out in @NatImmunol! 🥳. We previously identified inflammatory stroma in the #myeloma marrow🦴. But what is it doing there?. Here, we show it conspires with the most abundant marrow cell for long-term tumor support: the neutrophil!.
