If you’re the hardest worker on your team, don’t go down to your teammates’ level. Push them to work harder to get on your level!

Fear is used by weak leaders to manipulate and overpower. Fearful, confused people are easier to control. Strong leaders show up with hope, clarity, belief. They don't overpower people, them empower them. Be worth following.

What separates good coaches from great ones? It’s not the playbook. It’s not the talent. It’s who they are when it matters most. The 3 C's of Great Coaches👇. 1. Clarity of Purpose and Standards They know what they believe and what they’re building. Their players never guess

A stone cold fact I learned over 10+ years The athletes that make the most progress are the ones who commit to training hard over the summer and breaks It's not sets, reps, exercises, or methods It's consistency and commitment to training That's the secret

“Everyone Knows the Standard… So Why Did Our Culture Slip?” An athletic trainer told me something years ago that I’ve never forgotten. He said if you’re on a busy city sidewalk doing CPR and you look up at the crowd and yell: “Somebody call 911!” …there’s a good chance

Your Inner Critic knows your weak spots because it’s been watching your whole life. It knows exactly what to say to take you out. Don’t try to silence it. Just refuse to let it call the shots. Feel the fear and doubt, and show up anyway.

Parents…don’t protect your kids from the struggle. Struggle is how they grow. How they learn perseverance. How they build grit. Every tough coach, missed shot, and hard practice is a chance to develop resilience.

Hiring coaches because of who they know over what they know is killing coaching. Some great coaches will never get a shot because their last name doesn't get them recognition. Not saying some of these coaches aren't good, just saying there might be better overlooked options. 🤷‍♂️

As a coach, be the man you demand your players to be. Be on time. Be prepared Be tough. Coach every rep. Know your role. Know the scheme. Work out. Accept rebuke. Hold your players to a high standard & yourself to a higher one. Players know if you are who you say you are. Lead.

The silent killers of team culture aren’t dramatic. They are small. Ignored. Repeated. - One player always late - Excuses nobody challenges - Poor effort that slides unnoticed - Side conversations during meetings By the time you see the damage? Trust is gone.

If you're not willing to give solid effort during practice, why even show up? Going through the motions won’t help you improve. The purpose of practice is to improve, not just to show up and say you did it!

If you don’t want to live a higher standard and be held accountable to a higher standard, you don’t want to be a leader. Leadership demands a higher level of living.

PLAYERS: When coach doesn't play you, they aren't disrespecting you or hating on you. They may just be respecting your teammates and loving the team. Good coaches play the players who make up the best team and who are the most trusted team members. Be that kind of teammate.
