I found a definition for love this year that made the concept of unconditional love coherent to me Love is a pattern of attention In every person/place/thing/idea there is some reflection of “the good” When you love something, you orient towards whatever glimmer of good is in
Nobody knows what "unconditional love" means They say they love their partner unconditionally and then you're like "would you still love them if they cheated on you and raped your children" and they're like "no, of course not" and then you have to explain what a condition is

Trump sent in the Noise Marines
🚨🇺🇸🇻🇪This account from a Venezuelan security guard loyal to Nicolás Maduro is absolutely chilling—and it explains a lot about why the tone across Latin America suddenly changed. Security Guard: On the day of the operation, we didn't hear anything coming. We were on guard, but

this is one of the points we need to keep hammering every week. Illegal migrants should've been locked out of banking ten months ago.
I think Trump should do much more. But political conditions set the boundaries and, in any case, the president doesn't have the appetite for deep change. He could lock illegal aliens out of the banking system tomorrow and get mass self-deportations. Why isn't he doing this?

Underrated Christmas tradition: "Grinching" You steal something from each of your friends/family members on Christmas eve, wrap it up for them, give it to them in the morning. Responses vary - sometimes it's "ah I love this X, but I already have one" To which you say "I know"
Observation 1: Christmas is a part time job that you have from mid-November to the end of December. From the outside looking in, Christmas always seemed pretty simple. I always thought you put up a tree and then gave gifts to family. This is a lie.

You can blame Muslims, but at some point you must realize that the real villains are those that brought them here.

Just remember that it was a conscious decision to bring these problems into our countries. It wasn’t chance or historical necessity, it was a choice.

Pedo-releasing judges are the most enthusiastic enforcers of hate speech laws because they know full well what waits for them on the other side of the hate-speakers taking power.
That’s Judge Andrew Menary. Menary previously let a pedophile who was found with baby rape videos walk free because he had "good character."
