So, many of you have shared theories on how 80 pig knickknacks ended up closed up behind the walls of a house in the suburbs. Most of the theories have been wholesome and cute. But some have been very, very dark.
So, yesterday was wild. Started off with this text from my neighbor. He's a great guy but has no business cutting open walls by himself. I grabbed some tools and went over there. 1/x 🧵

Some of my faves. As a huge fan of @WhistlePigRye, finding 80 pig knickknacks was perhaps a higher calling to more formally establish our relationship as exclusive and stop playing the field

After the unboxing was over, we counted a total of 80ish pig knicknacks dating as far back as the 1930s!

We opened the first box to find a bunch of carefully, individually wrapped things. Someone cared deeply about saving these, at some point. Until someone thwarted that plan by closing them off with walls on all 4 sides
