Too often, my patients can’t access effective therapies because insurers put up many barriers to coverage. Some resort to shaming insurers on social media to get their medicines.

My maniac of a cousin @EddieRe decided that being a freaking doctor wasn’t enough and that he wanted to teach himself to code. Now the dude has a wickedly fun word game in the App Store. Goals. #iphone #apps #wordgames

Include generalists in clinical research and guidelines!! This became so clear during the pandemic. The generalists were the ones providing the care but never on authorship teams despite seeing the most MIS-C and acute COVID. Hoping to be a subspecialty ally in the future.
Really really important point here. We are generating these data and implementing the interventions. Adding hospitalists to the authorship team isn’t just the right thing to do - it makes the work better. #SHMConverge.
