The productivity of elite scientists is largely explained by #collaboration with graduate students and postdocs at more prestigious institutions rather than inherent differences in talent (according to a study of 78,802 tenure-track faculty at 262 schools) https://t.co/dwAjxv2p2U

It's in forums like these where a more academic approach is taken to understand the Filipino experience makes me realise the notable positive impact our community (and by extension, our Filo identity) has on the spaces that we occupy. There is so much we can offer!

An initiative by @fastcovic and @PAFLatrobe, the IRFP gathered graduate students, community leaders, and scholars to exchange ideas on the lived experiences and global contributions of the Filipino Diaspora. I also got the chance to moderate the keynote sessions and one plenary!
