There's good reason there's "low crime" in BJP states generally. When the police doesn't write FIRs and doesn't arrest criminals, cases automatically drop. New India, new counting system, I guess.

One other gripe was that the film focuses so much on world building that this current film's narrative is kind of weak, sort of just a prelude. But they still manage to keep things engaging and fresh so there's that.

Fun film overall, can't remember the last time I enjoyed watching a shared universe film. Kalyani Priyadarshini's deadpanness actually helps the character. Wasn't free of the usual cliché pitfalls of powerful woman character depiction though (almost needless romance track, e.g.).
