The Delhi blast matters not only because it represents a security failure, but because it reveals the deeper failure of Modi’s strategic approach. I write in @thecaravanindia on why Modi did not go on a Pakistan-bashing spree after the Delhi blast. https://t.co/KiWYZy6xrs

A car explosion near Delhi's Red Fort killed at least 15 people. Unlike after the November 2008 attack or even post Pahalgam Narendra Modi's rhetoric has been different.

"Modi cannot blame Pakistan for the Delhi blast because doing so would require him to admit that his actions have produced outcomes he cannot control through force or rhetoric. These convergent pressures—domestic, diplomatic, and strategic—have left Modi with no good options."

When the share of manufacturing in India’s GDP has itself come down under Modi, how can defence manufacturing take off? Unless Indians elect the political leadership they deserve, defence manufacturing will remain the nation’s glaring governance failure. https://t.co/8V9qC0BGVe

Defence indigenisation and manufacturing is a wicked problem that India is unable to solve. Boastful announcements, catchy slogans & PR gimmicks have only harmed the cause. Like Delhi air pollution, there are solutions but does the govt have the political will? I write @ttindia

China was already a significant adversary: It has the world’s largest navy by number of ships, biggest arsenal of ground-launched ballistic and cruise missiles, and largest active military service, with a standing army of 2 million soldiers.

The government is clearly in a rush to destroy the RTI Act! Section 44(3) of the Data Protection Act, which amends Section 8(1)(j) of the RTI law to exempt disclosure of all personal information, has been operationalized with immediate effect. Why this rush to restrict people’s

Another of those funny reports, as if it is an allegation made by the Congress and not an official filing of the US government which shows that the RSS paid for and used a lobbying firm in the US.

This is the only report on RSS using a lobbying firm in the US in a major newspaper. And even it doesn't talk about the official US government documents but tries to suggest as if the Congress party is alleging something on its own. Other newspapers don't even cover it.

The focus has been on headline number, which is for 6 years. It comes to only Rs 4200 crore per year. Existing schemes for this year were for Rs 3700 crore, of which 3000 crore has not been paid for FY26. This is how export promotion will happen.
