Our schools are the heart of our city. Thank you to the CCUSD board, teacher's union, and community for their advocacy, and to my colleagues for their support. I’m hopeful we can find a path forward next month and make a commitment to support our schools in their time of need.
Thanks @bubbathefish& city council for moving forward a plan to find funding for CCUSD. City manager should meet w/ the district to see what is happening with their plans. As a union we never support a plan to layoff city workers - typical bad mgmt scare tactic!.#unionstrong
