New Review! #devbiol #bioelectricity #CellBiology #tissueregeneration In our new @AnnualReviews piece, we explore how bioelectricity is generated, sensed & translated into responses that sculpt tissues, guide growth & enable tissue regeneration.

Bioelectricity is likely as old as life itself. From the moment the first proto-cell was enclosed in a lipid bilayer, a membrane potential arose. Thus, one can expect that bioelectrical activities...

9 CDC Directors going back to 1977 speak out. What RFK Jr has done to our nation’s public health system "should alarm every American." It "is unlike anything we have ever seen at the agency, and unlike anything our country has ever experienced."

Just out in @angew_chem: @MerkleInstitute researchers have developed a new type of mechanophore incorporating coumarin - a molecular sensor that glows bright blue when plastic materials experience stress or damage. Read about it here: https://t.co/wCzqADekwF

It is disheartening to see today that the strength of international law and humanitarian law no longer seems binding, replaced by the presumed right to overpower others. This is unworthy and shameful for humanity and for the leaders of nations.

The Trump administration has launched a Blitzkrieg on science and academic freedom. As researchers, we must use our voices to advocate for science to protect patients, the economy, and truth itself. Read more in my op-ed in @TheScientistLLC. https://t.co/W0waPa3ChU
