proximity deployment. First claim was a water claim worth $270k+ & then I got 35 PLH claims so I can buy each roof w/o stepping a foot on it. After the firm takes their cut, I’m on pace to make at least $30k my first 2 weeks.

newbies: learn money management EARLY. It’s tempting to start BMF when those big deposits start to hit every week. But you don’t want to be the IA that panics everytime releases happen. The nature of our work is that we work ourselves out a job, plan ahead.

When I got my first IA assignment, my ex told me “I should’ve put a baby in you when I had the chance”. I came back from that NY deployment single. There were other reasons to break up but knowing he would even consider trying to sabotage me was the final straw.
Ppl can be in denial all they want but pregnancy and motherhood absolutely puts an even lower ceiling on most women’s careers. And men will do that shit on purpose because they know it slows you down

The carrier sent the firm a list of 15ppl they wanted back - I was on it. I don’t have deployments to share bc aside from the 1st one, every assignment I’ve been on someone from mgmt requested me.
