- People renaming master branch to main and whitelist to allowlist.- Mandating that you put pronouns on the internal profile to show you're an ally.- Mandatory microaggression training.- Can't say "hey guys" in meetings .- Can't ask someone at work "where are you from?".

TIL I've been paying for audible like a fool for the past 7 years.
It's free for Singapore residents, but even if you're a foreigner in Singapore, I highly recommend you buy a library membership (about 40 SGD or 30 USD a year). You get free JSTOR and other journal database access, and can borrow 16 ebooks/ audiobooks at a time, anywhere.

LOL, this is probably something I've built more times than I count, it isn't that hard.
It's kind of crazy to believe that FTX had no internal software to control client funds and reconcile it automatically. We built our first fintech company when we were 16 and we built a version of this. It's hard but not *that* hard.

My @LinkedIn feed seems to be more cringe than motivational, just removed another @davidgoggins wannabe.

Finished a couple of Netflix series while building out our mobile CI/CD pipeline 😂.
The real missing part for CI/CD automation is a local development experience. Sounds counter-intuitive but being able to run the E2E CI/CD pipeline locally and validate failures saves engineers from the 20 minute push, coffee, failure, fix loop.

I resonate very deeply with this, nothing beats the Eureka moments as an engineer.
Incredible how easily I forget just *how* satisfying it is to build a feature, have all tests pass, and get it working the way I had it in my head, and do it all in the same day. This feeling is why it feels hard to move away from being a hands-on engineer to more abstract work.
